Why feed raw? Here are just a few reasons.

  • A raw diet heals 9 out of 10 health complaints. One of the biggest problems pet owners face is allergies. Feeding a raw diet will generally put an end to dog and cat allergies including incessant paw licking, hot spots, heavy shedding, intermittent diarrhea, ear infections, cracked and dry nose, paws and skin and blocked anal glands.
  • No more obnoxious gas. One of the biggest benefits is that cat & dog gas is no longer a problem period!
  • Increased energy and vitality. Most dogs and cats even obtain their ideal weight completely naturally, without any expensive prescription “diets”. These results are visible within 1 to 2 months of switching to a raw diet.
  • Feeding raw meat, raw vegetables and raw bones gets the cleanest teeth you can imagine – and it normally takes only 3 to 4 weeks, even in bad cases.
  • Cats are obligate carnivores. In order to thrive, cats must eat the tissue of other animals. Why is this? Cats evolved eating almost not carbs and they they have only one enzyme system that can handle it, as opposed to humans and dogs. While dogs have developed a slight ability to break down and use carbohydrates, cats are obligate carnivores and have no use for carbohydrates whatsoever.

While there are plenty of other great reasons to incorporate raw elements into your pet’s feeding regimen, it is important to do your homework prior to making the switch. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding feeding a raw diet to your pet.
